As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly ingrained in our everyday lives, concerns persist around biases in AI systems and ethical standards to guide its fair use. Without an international framework or set of principles governing AI, drawing the ethical line on responsibly using the technology varies across countries and even cities, and comes down to individual policymakers, elected leaders, the private sector and the work of grassroots advocates. Several countries are in the global AI race, but most notably the United States, China and European Union member countries are taking different approaches on how they incorporate ethics-driven and trustworthy AI frameworks, if any.

Join POLITICO on Tuesday, January 26, at

11 AM ET / 8 AM PT for a deep-dive conversation which will explore the pace of global AI innovation and development and what it means for the future of AI ethical standards.
